MARS – Mois de l’histoire des femmes – honorons nos jeunes femmes

Puisque mars était le mois de l’Histoire de la Femme, nous voulions souligner les femmes influentes de notre communauté. Vous!

La réalité d’être une jeune femme aux prises avec un cancer fait de nous toutes, des actrices inspirantes, en étant une lumière dans la vie de chacune.

Sous cette lumière, nous honorons Noémie. En soulignant son courage et sa persévérance qui la propulsent vers l’avant, elle ne laisse pas les obstacles l’arrêter. En rémission déjà depuis plusieurs années, elle était redevenue autonome, repris des cours à l’école et vivait en appartement. Puis à l’automne 2017, le verdict tombe, le cancer revient et elle doit se faire amputer la jambe. Arrêt des cours, séjours à l’hôpital, Noémie n’a jamais laisser tomber et elle continue toujours avec un sourire accroché aux lèvres. En réhabilitation et revenue à la maison, elle trouva un moyen de continuer ces cours en ligne et de persévérer vers le de jours meilleurs. Merci Noémie d’être une jeune femme si inspirante!

Ceci t’honore aussi! Chacune d’entre vous gardez la tête haute et faites de cette communauté si précieuse.

As Women’s history month was in March, we wanted to highlight the mighty women of this community. You!

The reality of being a young woman living with cancer makes us all inspiring ladies, shining a light on each other.

In this light, we would like to honor a young woman named Noémie. She is an inspiring and resilient soul, who has touched more hearts then we can imagine. Her perseverance and courage through cancer’s hurdles has help her to go back to school. Even with the news in 2017 where cancer came back in her leg and forced her to take a break in her life, she did not let that stop her. When the doctor told her that her leg must be amputated, she did not let that put her down either. She is always trying to figure out ways to keep following her classes online and moving forward to rehabilitation. We applaud you Noémie!

While saluting Noémie, we are also honoring other young ladies like her: Pam, Sam, Liz, Yas, Jayda, Steph, Ariele, Cynthia, Julie, Aly, Voa, Sophie, Patricia, Val, Katey, Marie, Jen, Amandeep, Suzanne, Nicky, Eve, Yanely, Sylvie, Deb, Nat, Anna, Laura, Sherri; if you feel inspired by this, then this honors you as well. All of you keep your head up and make this community worthwhile and so important. Thank you for being each other’s light when it gets dark.
